Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (there are spoilers in this !! do not read if you haven't seen the film !!!!)

And here is the second part of my Potter reviewing.... upon seeing the first installment of the last movie, I can safetly say....IT WAS BRILLIANTLY EPICALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the beginning of the film you can tell its going to be VERY different from the other Harry Potter films. With the beginning building tension as both Harry and Hermionie leave their homes, and upsettingly, Hermionie has to wipe her parents memory so she never exsisted to them (*sniffle*). It prepares the audience for a tale of sadness and danger. The film is gripping for those who have and haven't read the book (However those who have read it its brilliant when it comes to the detail of the action, it misses out very little!) . It is potentially the most scary of the lot. When the critics have said its the darkest tale of them all....they arent kidding (at one point I screamed....I actually screamed.....whole cinema laughed at me was mortifying!!!). The bond of friendship is pulled to the extreme limits with Harry, Ron and Hermionie, as they are plunged into perill and danger, with unlikely deaths of those close to them and us the audience (*cries*).

I think the most clever part of the whole film, is the presentation of the fairytale story of the Deathly Hallows, when Hermionie reads it out, so everyone knows what the Deathly Hallows are. The story of the Deathly Hallows is shown through a Tim Burton style cartoon, being very visually cleverly developed and an excellent way of displaying the story of the Peverell Brothers. It goes through the story clearly and although its a fairytale, its presents as a very dark more grown up style of fairytale.

I highly reccommend, nay command!!!, everyone to go see it !!!!!!!!!!!! It is truly a great piece a film and it will take you on a very exciting journey !!!!!!

  1. OOOoooooOOOOOhhh, I'm admittedly not a Harry Potter uber-fan so I thought I'd just see this film when it comes out on DVD at someone's house or something but now I want to see it in the cinema! Love that you screamed out loud!
