It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....it must be I'm blogging !!

Well, Hello there !
Yes that's right I have FINALLY finished my assessments that were due in and I finally have some time to relax, blog and wrap presents. I am SO glad that I am heading home for Christmas this weekend, it feels like it has been a right haul to get here.

And to start off this blog,
Merry Christmas all!

Yes, everyone dust off your Santa Hats and crack out the mince pies, as it's that time of year again. I have every intention to have an awesome Christmas and I hope you have one too. Now, I don't know about you guys, but I feel that certain things HAVE to happen at Christmas, or else it wouldn't be Christmas.

Here is my list of necessities at Christmas.........

1. Some houses near me ALWAYS have completely tacky and horrendous Christmas lights. But, if they weren't up, it wouldn't be Christmas. While driving to see my other relatives, me and my family rated the houses upon how they look out of 10. An example.... this house would get around a 3
It's a bit basic, but tasteful. It's not to the extreme and it doesn't prove to be blinding.
Unlike this house for example..... which would probably get around a 9.5.....
Because this my friends, is MENTAL. Awesome and a complete drain on any kind of electrical appliances. But AWESOME ! and hilarious.

2. Really crap presents. Every year, there is always that one present that you look at an think..... how on earth did they look at that and think "She'll love that !!!". To this day, nothing, I repeat, NOTHING will beat my uncle's Christmas present that he gave me two years ago. A glittery box of toilet rolls. That's right my friend. TOILET ROLLS ! He worked for Kimberly Clark which is a toilet roll company, showing he just nicked some loo roll from work !!!! lazy bugger.
3. Brussels Sprouts. The bane of the Christmas dinner plate. Ergh. I only ever have to eat one as proof I have actually eaten one. It's kind of turned into a Christmas tradition...mainly because if I don't eat it grandma won't let me have any of the chocolates. After eating it, I can then move on to the more important part of the dinner, roast potatoes and gravy !!! yummy :)
4. The sheer amount of chocolate. I have no idea what justifies the intense amount of chocolate and sweets but DAMN its good. I love the fact that everyone eats soooo much chocolate, when we don't need to. We just do !!! Every year, there is always the tin of Quality Streets or Roses that just go, apart from the crappy coconut ones. No one ever seems to eat them though.

5. Mince Pies. These blighters serve no purpose at any other time of year, but once Christmas comes around BOOM I am like a mince pie scoffer !! Its the traditional part of Christmas and the home made ones are always the better ones ! nom nom !

6. Finally, the anticipation. I might be 20 years old, but nothing will stop me for running to bed on the 24th December and getting excited at the thought of getting presents! The anticipation of Christmas day is amazing ! any ages from 10 to 100 you will still turn into that child which runs to bed at ridiculous o'clock and wake up MAJORLY early in order to see if Santa has been!

Well that's my list ! I wish everyone the best of luck in looking for Christmas presents and Blog sooooon !

Merry Christmas

New dress, Uni's a stress, The Three Musketeers and a Student Lock In

Hello!
*looks ashamed* Yes.... I know....its been a while !!! and I am sooooo sorry !
BUT coming back to uni has been a nightmare ! in a sense as its so nuts this year and so busy !!! its mental !
Well whats new with me.....
Shocking amounts of work, lack of money, applying for a PGCE and other random stresses!! WOOO UNI IS FUN!!!

One thing that I said I would do AGES ago yet have only got chance to do it now, IS SHOW MY NEW DRESS OFF !!! came all the way from the land of the Aussie's from the lovely Sarah at Misfits Vintage (check her out here - http://www.misfitsvintage.com/2011/10/desperately-seeking-space.html). Now, my blackberry camera is a bit crap. And my legs are a bit of a mess. And My hair is an UTTER mess as its been a lazy day. And I am wearing rather sexual fluffy slippers. Apart from that, the pictures are lovely !!

 laaavly !
The flowers are actually red and as are the buttons, but my camera is a bit crap.
new look. Everyone will be wearing sexy fluffy slippers !! watch this space!!
 SEXY !!
I would like to thank Sarah as we had a few issues with Paypal but its lovely and THANKYOU!!!!

What else has been ace recently. Well I went with two friends to see The Three Musketeers, which, no word of a lie, is AMAZING !! It is hilarious, witty, action packed and surprisingly Orlando Bloom is a good bad guy ! Since I have only ever seen him in like Lord of the Rings of whatever, but he is surprisingly good. I also now have a MASSIVE crush on the guy that plays Aramis!! Luke Evans, what a babe!! The plot is, the hot-headed young D'Artagnan (Lorgan Lerman) along with three former legendary but now down on their luck Musketeers Aramis (Luke Evans), Porthos (Ray Stevenson) and Athos (Mathew MacFayden), must unite and defeat the beautiful double agent Milady De Winter ( Milla Jovovich) and her villainous employer Richelieu from seizing the French throne and engulfing Europe in war. It's brilliant, If you love actions films and lots of fight scenes, this is the film for you . I give this film.....

BECAUSE IT'S AMAZING !!
All for one and one for all!!!!
phwwaaaaa!!!

Another cool thing that I went to the other night was this thing called a student Lock in, which was in a section of town which was for students to go and get discount on stuff and spend loads of money and shizz. I went with my friends Becky and Jess, to which I took some photos and such. I got a cool necklace that's like a watch and some Krispy Kreme. We also had a free drink in Calvin Klein Underwear....yeah.... check out the pictures :) ...
Free Alcohol in Calvin Klein.... standard
 God's tasty food
My new watch necklace. Was meant to be £15, half price to £7.50. The got some more money off so I ended up getting it for £4.00 ! WINNER !
Becky and Jess with some giant pants.

Well that's all in the life of me thus far! I apologies if I don't blog much, Uni's about to get mental!

Love for all!!

Packing, back to uni, a night out and lack of sleep.....days 5 & 6 & 7

I have had the most mental couple of days of my life.

Friday - aka day 5 - went well. Bit mental, and ended up having the afternoon off. Which was WIN! I went to the lessons and with the literature lot, it was group work which wasn't to bad. The language (chavvy) lot had to continue working in silence. I missed the second year literature lot as I had a dentist appointment. Then it was a quiet night in with a hot chocolate and a film with the boyfriend which was lovely.

The weekend was messy. Went out and got a lil bit drunkies. I say a lil bit. I got in at 5 in the morning on Sunday. Which resulted in a painful hangover, resolved by some pork scratching and chewits. Yes. I know. Odd hangover cure.

Monday - aka day 6 - It went VERY well. All the English Literature classes were great. I say all. Except the second years. The class that Sue has, there are a few that have very loud voices and very strong opinions. Now, I love a strong opinion as much as the next person, but they seriously take the biscuit. There are five of them that just dominate the class floor, and don't give any one a chance to talk. Sue tries to get the class involved but they just shout over them. Am thinking of what to do to possibly help, but it might involve me shouting at them which would not be good. However, I did help the first years though. For the Language lot I have created a help sheet that has stuff to help them with the commentaries they have to do in assessments. Then it was a return home and do a work out with la fitness group, which caused me to DIE! I am so not a runner. Then sleep. Lots of sleep.

TUESDAY! - aka day 7 - Rather a slow day. The lessons were rather long and I was SO tired. I did however try and help the students as much as I could. In English Language, I helped a lass called Vicky who has no confidence, bless her, so I helped her with her commentary and she managed to write a fair bit. I hope I helped.

And thus, now I must pack for uni. *Sigh*. I am excited to see all my lovelies again. I kinda look like this at the moment....

But I am gonna miss my boyfriend something fierce. Love him lots. <3

In my next blog, MY NEW DRESS HAS ARRIVED !!!!! but alas its not at my house :( Its a Dan's...SO.... its from the land of Aussieness! CANNE WAIT! Stick around and find out!!!

Not a lot really.... Days 3 & 4

Sorry I didn't write about yesterday, but there was little point due to the fact that the college had an external power cut and they had to evacuate everyone which was a plus as I actually got a day off in my oh so hectic life that seems to be happening recently. So I spent to day with my boyfriend and my mum and dad and it was lovely to have a relaxing day :)!

Day 4. College was back with power which is always a plus. Went in at 9 and went straight into a lesson with Sue again (yay!). I didn't realise however that the students have to write a commentary in COMPLETE SILENCE in all the lessons. So I literally sat there with no idea what to do. Its good that the students have to do it in class, in silence, because then at least its done. But Sue got three groups worth of essays to mark. The joys of the prospect of marking.....ergh. The students were really good, and the silence meant that I could also do some reading and some work of my own that I had to do. After that there wasn't any other lessons but I went to the staff room with Sue and had a look at some of the essays. It was really cool because Sue listened to what I had to say and we agreed on a lot of the points. The first years need a lil bit of help but they have good ideas overall.

I am thinking of making them a help sheet or something.....hmm... see if I have time :S !

Another day gone, on more then weekend :)!!!

HUZZAH! the life of a student teacher :) !!

"You're an ex student !?....How old are you?".... Day 2

Well, here is day two. Turned up at 9 again, this time wearing a floral dress, black tights and a red cardigan. I thought I looked rather smart. I turned up and headed to the staff room to find the head of English department staff, Mike, and ALL the tutors were in a meeting. I tried to get in, but it was packed and I got a funny look off a tutor so I just hid outside.

The meeting finished and I was put with Sue again which I was happy about :)! We both then walked to her tutorial group, who were all a bit gormless, but its tutorial (aka registration) and its always dull. Some of them had a few questions about applying for uni, which was cool because I could help. After that I went to another English Literature lesson which was interesting. The classes are studying Dancing at Lughnasa which is a play I have never studied but its actually really good. Set in Ireland in 1936, about the Mundy girls who long for freedom and its a good play, go and check it out!

After that...I had to go to a double with the chavs again.....joy.....(not)...
They were all gob shite but today I didn't have to talk to them today I just sat and did some research for my on coming Shakespeare module. I really do worry about the youth of tomorrow (HOW OLD DO I SOUND!) but they all just didn't seem interested ! Why do a lesson that you aren't interested in !! I DON'T UNDERSTAND! You are at college to learn and be enriched with what you do learn, whats the point in studying something that you are only going waste. That's my opinion anywho :).

After that the day was done. Went pretty quickly actually. I asked my mum to pick me up and she was late *Grr*. So Me and Sue went to the staff room. THE STAFF ROOM ! I felt so professional ! I made a cup of tea and sat and talked to teachers and I felt so cool! weirdly! It was good, Sue was trying to think of something for the second years as they didn't seem to like the text they were studying, which is a book called Disgrace, and she asked me what I thought we could do!! I was a bit put out, and said I would think of something and let her know. It was nice that she was taking my opinion into consideration :)! I felt clever for once =P One of the tutors who looked at me funny in the morning, came over to me and said
"I'm really sorry for looking at you funny before, I just thought you were a student here just a bit lost, Sue says you are here on work experience, You're an ex student ? you look really young and that not a bad thing trust me, how old are you?"
Which sparked off a conversation with her, which was nice, she was a biology tutor.

And thus my second day of be a tutor/helper/work experience person was done.

Now its time for a sit down and a cuppa tea :)

I now have a lot of respect for tutors....Day 1

Today I had my first day of doing some work experience because I want to do a PGCE course after I finish my current uni course. After one day, I have some serious respect for tutors.

I emailed the college ages ago, but, they never got back to me. So I generally thought nothing of it and thought meh be right I'll sort it out later ! later turned into 3 months later. My friend Kate proper scared me by saying, "we need to apply early October" to which my head went into over drive and I PANICKED ! I needed a minimum of two weeks work experience which I still didn't have. So I frantically emailed my old tutor, thinking what am I going to do, they will have just started term and I am doing this to them !!! GAAAH! BUT. I should not have fretted as they were very kind and gave me the chance.

I went today at 9am, wearing a blue jumper, black trousers and small black ballet pumps. I was surprisingly nervous. I was fortunate enough to get put with my favourite tutor from when I was there two years ago, Sue. She is literally the best teacher I have ever had and it was her that inspired me to take the English literature teacher route, preferably A Level as they were interested in the subject itself!. The first lesson, I walk in,

"Ah! Everyone ! this is Abbie ! she is an ex student of ours and she is at university doing English Literature. She was one of my best students and if you have any questions am sure she will help when she can" *I turn into a beetroot*

I think she made me out to be some sort of Literary God. Was nuts. It was also really weird going back! everything's changed and everyone recognizes me. One thing that hasn't changed however, is the lil' shits that are first years. The funny thing is though, the first years that did English literature were really keen and great as we were able to have a discussion ! alas, the English Language lot, they were.....erm..... a bit.....

....yeah.... chavvy !! I literally wanted to smack about 3/4 of the class! Now I can keep my cool, but I could not teach them if I tried ! Sue sent two of them out and she kept control of the class but I could tell she really didn't like them at all. I take my hat off to the woman she can keep her cool.

Overall was a good day, except the chavvy individuals that I wanted to smack. HOPEFULLY! I won't get the again this week but hey ho if I do. I get an official timetable tomorrow of where I am going to be and what I am going to be doing so I am quite excited. I am really happy I am doing it and the respect I have for Sue already has now sky rocketed ! good on her.

More of an update tomorrow :) !!

Random creativity.... what dya think ?

One was seriously bored with today and wrote this. What dya think ? let me know!! comment please :)

Please. Just wait for me.

They were the last words I ever remember him saying to me. Just wait for me. Those five words that ring through my ears. They mean so much to me and are the only things that make me cling to hope, that one day, maybe, he’ll come back. I remember the look in his eyes, that weird look that men do when they are trying to be manly when in reality all they want to do is break down. Those eyes. How I miss them. Green, with a slight ring of hazel to them. I could have stared into them all day if I had the chance. I might still have the chance.
He fought back breaking down, I did break down.

“Don’t go” I kept repeating to him. My heart was pounding my ears, I felt my shoulders shake with pain of the crying and tears streamed down my face. I knew why he had to go but I didn’t ever want him to leave. He knew this. We both did. Even his reassurance didn’t help. He told me about the time we will have together in the future, but there was one very big problem.

He kissed me on the forehead and looked me in the eyes.

Please. Just wait for me

He jumped on the train and then he was gone. It was as quick as smoke disappearing into thin air. One moment it is there, the next slipped through your hands like it was just your imagination.  Then I was alone. The year is 1865, My name is Alice Harris and I am love with a murderer.

weeell? :)

Just feeling a bit down :/

This blog insert will go slightly off from my other types of blogs, as this is a minor rant.

Today was the THE last straw. Quite literally. Over the summer, I will be the first to admit, I have put on way to many pounds, and have tried in my vein to lose it. However, certain people in my family have not helped in the slightest. Snide and bitchy comments

"once on the lips, forever on the hips, and it's probably gonna stay there for a long time by the looks of you"

"do you really want to be eating that?"

"do you want a size 14, you aren't going to fit into that one"

I am a size 12. At the beginning of this year, I was super confident in how I looked as I was Heath happy and didn't really give one. Now thanks to lack in body confidence and being at an all time low due to people at home grinding me down, its really getting to me.

So I stand up *stands up* and say this unto you gorgeous people. There will always be knob heads in life who will throw proverbial shit at you. Words can cut with a knife and the figurative bleeding sometimes won't stop. That is how much it can hurt. But. And that's my big butt, (apparently) just stop for a moment. Take a good hard look at yourself. And just say the words...

" I am brilliant. I am me. If I were anyone else, I would be something I am not"

I have read so many blogs and witnessed many great people through them. I just wanted to share with you brilliant people some words that might help if you too are feeling a bit down, a bit put out and a bit shite. I am glad to have gotten this off my chest. I just needed to write and vent a bit. I am now going to shove two fingers up at the twatbags who think it's all right to grind down someone's self esteem.

Rant over :)

Lovage for all!!!!!!!

Murder on the Venice express.....

The other night it was my friend Anna's 21st. I thought at first it was gonna be the traditional get drunk and go out sort of night. How mistaken I was. My friend Anna isn't exactly conventional when it comes to parties. The night before we were due to go to her house, I received this message:

"The year is 1935 and once again the Venice Express will be leaving London on a gloriously decadent trip full of luxury and glamour.
The cream of British and Continental Society will be taking the famous trip. Excitement is mounting as the passenger list includes the famous author Agatha Frisky and some of her family.
Join them for a trip of discovery and possibly tragedy."

That's right. I'm having a murder mystery party for my 21st. A murder mystery party involving the character "Agatha Frisky".
Aim to arrive before 7pm, as we'll start around then. There will be food and wine. I'm about to PM everyone their character + (optional) costume details. But it would be nice if everyone dressed up a bit.

After I read this, I GOT SO EXCITED !!! She then messaged us who were, I was -

You shall be playing the role of Melissa Forethought, Agatha Frisky's secretary and assistant. The game suggests you wear a long dress, with gloves, a feathered headband and lots of make-up. But you can adapt that anyway you want.

I then raided my wardrobe and found my black dress and headed to her house the next night.

It was SO MUCH FUN! turns out it was me and my friend Ben, the assistant and the husband. Lord Hugh

Dunnit and Melissa Forethought. Apparently we where having an affair and they decided to poison Agatha Frisky in order to be together. NO ONE (apart from Anna because she is a genius) thought it was us! I managed to accuse everyone else ! YAY ! We had a lovely 3 course meal and it took over the space of the meal for all the clues to be read out and for everyone to evaluate who could have been it.

I really need to sort out a murder mystery night. Maybe one at uni? I like this plan!

How Absolutely Fabulous!!!

That's right bloggers,

the wonderful British comedy sitcom, Absolutely Fabulous is back for a few new episodes ! How cool is that !! Its the shows 20th anniversary in a few months and there will be three episodes with the original cast and everything. Joanna Lumely and Jennifer Saunders take on there roles of the ever fabulous, if some what eccentric, Edna and Patsy.

For all you who don't know about Ab Fab, the show depicts the loud and mental, fashion addicted lives of PR "genius" Edina, with her constant weight battles, and her best friend, the glamorous, hilarious, sex-mad magazine editor Patsy.
The BBC website said that Saunders, who is also the show's creator, said: "Like a good bottle of champagne we hope that we have got better with time without losing any of our sparkle".

"Last week when we started filming in dear old west London, it was as if nothing had changed. It was raining"
.
"Nevertheless, we are so happy to be working for an audience that has grown just a tiny bit older like us, but is still willing to let us fall over on TV in the name of PR."

Apparently our favourite girls will be taken on an adventure, with life/ career changing decisions and the will no doubt be a huge amount of hilarity to add on top. BRING ON THE AB FAB!!!

Keith Lemon, Doctor Who, riots and a want to be creative.....

Ola blogger land !

Well, its been a while once again *hangs head in shame*
BUT I come bearing another wonderful blog for you to read and hopefully enjoy!

Now two things have seriously caught my eye recently in the news....
1. the riots that have kicked off in the UK - yeah, its at times like this were I really wonder what people are thinking. What has happened has happened but it shouldn't have ever got that far. What began as a peaceful protest went nuts and things kicked off. Manchester wasn't the nicest place to be the other week (I went shopping, they had completely burnt down Miss Selfridge.....not impressed). I seriously hope that those effected by these riots are helped and everything will be sorted.
2. On a really different note...like reallyyyyyy different ...... and somewhat slightly more excited note...........KEITH LEMON IS TURNING ON BLACKPOOL LIGHTS!!! Blackpool is a lovely.... say lovely....an alrightish town in the north....you have to go there to live it =P I am serious need of tickets like yesterday !! He will be turning them on and ITS ACE! Bang tidy!!
and also.....this weekend.....

DOCTOR WHO STARTS AGAIN!!!!

OOO WWAAAAA OOOOOOOOOOO! (This is TARDIS noises for all those who thing its just me being an idiot)

Yep Doctor Who is back this weekend and its just damn exciting :D!!! The episode on Saturday is called lets kill Hitler....which is just thrilling!!! Its nuts because on the last episode River Song was revealed as Melody Pond, Rory and Amy's daughter (and if you didn't know WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ?)

Here are some promo pics for the rest of the series !!
 DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!
Amy with a Sword !! EPIC!

 Attack of the killer jellyfish?
Stephen Moffat....I couldn't have put it better myself !!
Well I hope that you are all well. I really need to get creative ! so I need some ideas ! if anyone has any idea hows I can get creative let me know !!

My names Abbly, and I approve this message ! (YAY FOR RAY WILLIAM JONSON!!)

Well Well Well ! ABOUT TIME !!!!

Hello you lovely people !

Having been on holiday for the past couple of days and having returned to the real world kicking and screaming, I was perusing the selection of wonderful magazines in the Co-op (a supermarket thing in the UK for all those who don't know what it is) I unearthed a discovery that on the front cover of Empire is ...... THE HOBBIT !!!

Now, I had completely forgotten about the Hobbit, as it seemed to take forever to get off the ground. BUT a combination of going to see the last (cries) Harry Potter film soon AND discovering that this is coming out next year in December, I actually esploded with excitement !!!

The Hobbit is apparently going to be in two parts and it has finally been revealed that Martin Freeman shall be playing a rather fair haired and youthful Bilbo Bagins and that there shall be the return of Sir Ian McKellen as the ever awesome Gandalf. Apart from the random leaks on the internet of random castings and what not its all being kept very hush hush. Production of the damn thing took a long time as there was a lot of um-ing and ah-ing about who was going to be director but I am so happy to say that the Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson is taking up the role once more as he should do!!! It shall be awesome to go and see it. It will be out late next December so everyone cross everything for it to be a good adaptation like the Lord of the Rings films.

NOW onto the sad/ Dedication part.

Harry Potter is coming to an end =( even though I have read the final book and I know what happens, I am seriously looking forward to seeing what the last of the films has to offer. They have always brought such joy to many people, with many getting attached to the characters.....I say many..... I mean me. If there wasn't a book to look forward to there was always a film, and soon we shall have neither *gets weepy*. Emma Watson is said to have broken down crying at the end of it all, whilst other simply got teary eyed and emotional. BUT Harry Potter has always been an institution in modern children's lives, we may not have a decent series of books like it again. All you reader who just shouted, TWILIGHT, go die in a hole as it will NEVER meet up to the standards and expectations brought with Harry Potter. J.K.Rowling, I seriously would love to A. meet you and B.shake your hand and thank you for bringing us the boy who lived.
The film is said to be the darkest of them all with some seriously gory bits in. There have been some snipets leaked on the internet but they don't seem enough to give any of the game away. The Boy who lived, Harry Potter, shall always be in out hearts forever. I'm getting quite emotional writing this, I feel quite passionate about Harry Potter!

I will write more of a review when I have seen it but I have been told that Neville Longbottom truly kicks some serious ass in this film and that there are moments which are truly brilliant and breath taking. As well as being SUPER jumpy and scary at time. Canne Wait.

This has been a bit of a random blog but I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog :) Will most likely be reviewing Transformers the neeeewww one, if any one will go and see it with me :( I hate it when everyone who I want to see a film with has already seen it!!! grrr! booo hoooo!! AND the last  Harry Potter film.

My name is Abbly and I approve this blog.

Hello blogger it's been a while .....

How do happy people.

I apologise for abandoning my blog for so long but life has been a tad hectic of late.
I have finished my second year of uni which was scary, finished on a 2.2 so not to bad but not what I was anticipating either. I moved back home for the summer and am working my ass of trying to get myself out of my overdraft. It's a slow process. Especially since my parents had the idea of going on holiday. It's going to end in disaster :/ mainly because my family argue enough when we are at home, and I highly doubt a holiday will change that. Grr. Never mind we shall see how it all pans out.

This is a slightly rangy blog but also just a line up of what I am probably gonna be chatting about in my next blog as it's quarter past 7 in the morning in the uk and I have been up since half 5 so my attention span is limited. The newwwww and last ( cries ) Harry potter film !!!! Can't believe it's going to be over. We don't even have a book to look forward to or a film or anything. How am I going to function in these circumstances !!!!!!!! I can't !!!!!! also the new transformers films. I have only heard good things about it and also have heard the linkin park song that is on the soundtrack that is ace ! So go and check that out :) ( alas I can't post. Link on here as am using an iPad and have no idea how to.... Fancy eh :P ) cool beans. Also I found a cool video on YouTube because ya no when it's half five in the morning you look up random on YouTube it's called wizard love and it's about the forbidden love between a GRyfinddor and a SLytherin it's s good crack :)

If I survive this holiday then I shall blog you all later but this is my slightly pathetic blog and I hope you are all merry people's and have a lovely weekend. Don't get drunk or talk to strangers ! Or do! Whatever you want :) but if they offer you candy don't take it :)

Pirates of the Carribbean 4 review and my life thus far...

Well well well bloggerland, I can finally blog at least once in my slightly hectic lifestyle and can finally chillax a bit =) its good times.

Now, to begin, I finally got round to seeing the fourth installment of the Pirates of the Carribbean films.....NOTE there are spoilers in this :) turn away now! if you don't want to know certain things about it !

Pirates of the Carribbean: On Stranger Tides....

The story line of the film leads on from the last film, with the introduction of Blackbeard and the new ship, the Queens Ann Revenge. To be honest, it had moments that were a bit of a let down to be fair, but overall it was a good film. Jack Sparrow was , as ever, on truly good form, he had moments that genuinely made me nearly pee myself with laughter. The directors made good use of the strong relationship between Penelope Cruiz and Johnny Depp with sizzling romantic tension. It makes Liz and Will look a bit flavourless really. I must admit I did miss William and Elizabeth, and the new romantic relationship between the mermaid and the young religious pirate is a bit weak, it needs to be explored more. Its in the early stages of "new relationship over shadowed by intense relationship in the previous film" kind of things. The mermaids themselves were ACE! one of the best elements of the whole films!!! they weren't the traditional Ariel with singing fish they were genuinly scary! awesome things. The zombies also a bit of a let down alas as they weren't "proper" zombies.  Barbossa is back, but not in his usual form, he is a privateer which is just plain WEIRD. Barbossa is a bit of a let down, as I expected more evilness from him, but Blackbeard gave enough evilness for everyone. The whole tone of the film was alot darker, which was good, as it made it more interesting and the story line is alot more detailed giving room for expansion into other films. On a last note....here's a pretty picture of the lovely Mr Depp .... :)

How Happy and cheery does he look! He made the film epic! Plus he is UBER good looking !! (yummy)
Overall I give this film a......
Note quite as epic as the previous films, but can lead to epicness all the same.

TADA

And on a slightly more amusing note....heres some pictures from my night out for my twentieth :). The teenage mutant ninja turtle idea kinda flung out the window and I ended up going as the joker. My boyfriend and his bestfriend went as Batman and Robin so it was quite and easy costume :) enjoy peeps
An unsual alliance, Batman, Robin and the Joker all completely smashed :P
 There are no words......Just confusion...
Start the night on vodka shots, its gonna end well !
its gonna be a fab night when you find a chocolate shop that sell chocolate boobs and you can get a casting of your own boobs!!!
On it like a car bonet!
My friends went as Bill and Ben...I stole Weed :P
